Pacific Dawn Two Day SFR Charter Wrap-up

10-8-2013
Don Padick

Yellowtail, dorado, yellowfin and Bluefin continue to show in the good numbers for the overnight, 1 ?? day, and 2 day trips and the prospects for hooking into a quality game fish continues to be excellent. SFR's recent 2 day trip on the Pacific Dawn with Captain Dustin and crew out of Fisherman's landing brought all four species to the deck. Day one produced all day action on kelp paddy yellowtail and Dorado with a sprinkling of yellow fin and Bluefin tuna to keep anglers on their games. Day two saw much of the same as the big schools of tuna eluded us but hungry yellowtail and dorado made for a great day on the water. The Pacific Dawn has since moved back to Ventura for the fall season but several overnight and longer boats out of Fisherman's landing continue to fish the offshore waters. Check their website at fishermanslanding.com or call them at 1-619-221-8500 to get the full schedule for the rest of the year.
