Good evening folks, we just called the 2013 Ken Bush trip a wrap. Currently we are headed toward San Diego, in very chilly weather. The sea state is calm, and unfortunately the sun was not shining today, as we had heavy overcast. Our bluefin hunt was a little frustrating, as we saw plenty of fish but hardly none the takers. As they say timing is everything. Our timing for bluefin was a little off but we had our catch onboard before we got here. This was just extra credit! Lol It was a very fun trip and the gang is enjoying the seafood feast as we speak. The food has been excellent, thanks to Mark, and Kyle, and I've had two passengers tell me that they can no longer fit into the jeans they wore when they got on the boat. The chefs must be doing something right. The galley is alive right now as the seafood platters are disappearing and the wine bottles are rapidly losing fluid! Lol The group has been wonderful and there has been a real comraderie amongst the guys. I would personally like to thank them all, as well as the crew as this is my first trip as skipper. The guys worked their asses off and it was a real pleasure to see them all working together, and getting along so well. I sure do love It here. The boat handles like a dream, it's great in rough weather, and the amenities are like I'm in a hotel. We will be in at 0630 to unload and do a few projects before we leave on Friday. Captain Kevin will be driving the next trip and it should be fun because we get to go down below! It's a 15 day. Thank you so much for following our reports. It means allot to us. Have a good night! Captain Billy Santiago Jr, Frank brenha, Sam Moore, Dave Taylor, romolino ghio, mark pariano and kyle johansen Ken Bush and Miles would like to thank: Ken Bush custom rods, Tuna chasers, Jri lures, Owner hooks, 5 star fish processing, Okuma fishing, Cork puppy, Batson Enterprises, Bd outdoors, Bloody decks, Squidco, Jerry Brown line one spectra, Phenix rods, Ballyhood international, Bill roecker, Intrepid sportfishing, Don castor custom rods, Steve tomiyama custom rods, Lori and chuck byron, Bernie pirih, Okie man venison jerky.
