After a great day catching Wahoo the Royal Polaris next targets Yellowtail
10-6-2013
Bill Roecker
"What a day to catch a Wahoo," reported the Royal Polaris. "Weather continues to be good, with clear skies, sunny days, and a slight breeze to keep it cool. We had another kelp holding Wahoo. Some of the Wahoo were in the 40 to 50-pound range, with one going over 75 pounds.
"We are now heading north and try our luck at some Yellowtail. We came up short to our deuce mark, but with 196 Wahoo for the trip, who can complain? We also caught some Pargo and Sierra Mackerel last night after making bait. Wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our daily events."
