Royal Polaris gets into some very nice Wahoo fishing
10-1-2013
Bill Roecker
"We had an excellent day," reported Royal Polaris September 30. "Our weather was just beautiful, with flat seas, clear skies, and sunny. It was tee-shirts and shorts for all aboard. The weather was not the only thing that was good, we had an excellent day of Wahoo fishing. We only have a few anglers that didn't tag a skinny today, and we will take care of them tomorrow morning.
"Some anglers caught their daily limits of Wahoo, with many others getting a few. Eddie, the crewmember on the boat tried to free gaff one, and the Wahoo won that battle, and took the gaff away from little Ed. But it was a good try. We also made a few drifts for Grouper, and we could only manage a couple, but there's tomorrow."
