The Intrepid arrived this morning along with some cool and wet weather. Jackpot results : First place winner Jim Cavanaugh of Granada Hills....39.8 lb. Tuna. Scott DiGiuseppe of Canoga Park was second with a 39.6-pound Tuna. Tom Duimstra of Fontana won third place for a 38-pound Tuna. Thank you Stan Vandenberg and Rod and Reel Radio for a great trip.

We spent today looking for Yellowtail. The morning looked promising as we spotted sign and breaking fish over a large area covering several miles. We could have had a very productive day except for one thing. The wind came up. By noon it was blowing hard. It made for very difficult conditions. We did manage to make a nice catch on Calico Bass.
