Yesterday was mostly a travel day for us, but we did stop on a couple of kelps for some small Yellows which were all released. We continued to make our way East towards the coast so that we were in position to look for some better grade Yellowtail today. This morning started out slow as it took several hours to locate a school, but once we found them it was good fishing for nice grade Yellows. They were biting everything! Surface iron being the most popular way to hook-up, but many had a fun time with the yo-yo iron and bait with a sliding sinker rig . We are now traveling North to be offshore for our last day of fishing on this 8 day trip. What a blast it has been with the Mike Shirer group on the boat!! "The Intrepid Team"
As we travel up the line we are enjoying an afternoon snack prepared by chefs Javier and J.J of King Crab legs, Crab claws and some fresh Ceviche. MMMMMM what a treat!!!
