We drifted with our school until 11:30 am. The end result was a mixed bag of Tuna as the Bluefin school (20-45 lbers) turned into a few Albacore and some small Yellowfin that were released. What a way to end a great trip! We would like to thank once again Anglers Choice Tackle for their sponsorship and the wonderful group of anglers they put together for this 5 day trip. Going back to the awesome bite at Guadalupe for you readers, picture a wide open Albacore bite and replace the fish with Yellowfin in the 30-60 lb range. All of that after the first half a day was spent pulling on Jumbo yellows. The Great White made a showing yesterday and taxed one unlucky angler for a nice Tuna. We got an up close face to face as the shark came back and finished the meal right next to the boat. The big island remains to be one of our favorite places to visit. ETA 6:00 am Friday morning.
