Fish Report for 9-30-2013
Offshore action continues for Ranger 85 & the Coral Sea for Bluefin, Yellowfin, Yellowtail & Dorado
9-30-2013
Frank Ursitti - Ranger 85
Hi Everyone,
The offshore action continued steady this week with good scores on Bluefin, Yellowfin, Yellowtail and Dorado as the fleet fished offshore, at times in challenging conditions. The forecast seems to have "turned the corner" and the weather and sea conditions look very favorable in the coming days. That's great news as we predict counts will increase dramatically, if that's even possible!
We are departing on a series of 2.5 day trips on the Ranger 85 as well as private charters and will post up our progress in the coming days. I want to highlight a few trips coming up.
For the Ranger 85
1.5 Day departs Oct 6, 9pm
2.5 Day departs Oct 8, 9pm
3.5 Day departs Oct 11, Noon! (Columbus Day Special)
This series of trips currently have limited availability and are sure to score BIG. The 1.5 and 2.5 day trips have been proven producers this season and the Columbus Day 3.5 has always been a GREAT TRIP! With any luck, and favorable water conditions, we will likely fish a day offshore, a day at San Martin Island, and another day offshore on this 3.5 day trip.
For the Coral Sea
Due to the GREAT fishing this season we have extended our popular Ultra Limited Load schedule on the Coral Sea.
1.5 Day departs Oct 2, 9pm
1 Day departs Oct 4, 9pm
1.5 Day departs Oct 5, 9pm
These trips are Ultra Limited to 17 anglers and have been most popular and productive this season.
We will keep you all updated as to our progress these next few days. Don't forget to hit the LIKE button on our Facebook Pages for both the Ranger 85 and Coral Sea.
You can book online at Ranger85.com and CoralSeaSportfishing.com
We look forward to seeing you onboard,
Capt. Frank
