9-27-2013
Nevada Department of Wildlife
Fishing pressure was low this week due to high winds and rain. However, the roads on the WMA have dried out and are in good condition. Water temperatures are at 55 degrees throughout the area. Trout fishing has picked up at Haymeadow and Cold Springs for anglers using PowerBait and spinners. At Adams and Dacey fishing has been slow, but should pick up as temperatures continue to drop. Weeds are starting to emerge at the surface and near the boat launches. The youth waterfowl hunt is scheduled for Sept. 28.
