Today was a success. We made the move to a different area and it paid off. We managed to catch a variety of fish on meter marks and kelps and it was a lot more consistent action than yesterday, which was what we were looking for. The fish we landed were Albacore, Yellowfin, Yellowtail, and Dorado. The action was, at times, fast and furious. The grade was a little smaller but it was well worth it. We are getting in tomorrow and doing it all over again. This time we will probably be doing something a bit different but nothing is yet written in stone. ETA 6:00 am Tuesday morning. 8-30-2009We spent the day offshore fishing for Albacore. We woke up to fantastic weather and calm seas. The catching part of the day started early with a few jig stops for a few fish on each stop.
