It was a fun day of catching quality Tuna and a few nice Wahoo. We were after big Tuna today and tomorrow and that's what we found here at the Rocks. We also caught 2 Big Eye Tuna today. Overall it was a steady pick bite with one good flurry in the mid morning hours. There were several fish that were over the 100 lb mark today and the rest of the fish were in the 50-80 lb range. We are very happy with the quality of the Tuna today. Richard Hightower bagged a very nice Yellowfin today on his Newell 540 3.2 reel with a 50 lb Seagaur fluorocarbon topshot and a 4/0 Hyabusa Circle Hook. He handled this fish, a 100 lber, in 15 minutes with this outfit. Way to go Richard!! We will be here again tomorrow and hope to catch more of these beautiful grade Yellowfin. "The Intrepid Team"
