We left the Bank just after lunch today with a decent morning of Wahoo fishing. The skinnies were around and bit well at first, but backed off rather quickly so we put the anchor over the side and began to empty our bait boxes. They responded with a flurry and we were able to pick off a few more before the Tuna came in a shoved them out of the way. The Yellowfin were 30-100 lbs and provided lots of action for us, although most of the fish were released to grow into larger models for the future. It was a fun filled morning with lots of bent rods and happy anglers eager for some fast pace fishing after the last few days of scratch style on the trophies. We are headed home in a heavy uphill current, but the sea state is nice and making for a nice ride. We will continue to report throughout our travels for the next few days with lots of photos.
