National Geographic Day for all of us here on the Intrepid.. We witnessed one of the Oceans rare events today as 4 Giant Whale Sharks swam around us throughout the morning. This was an incredible site! One of the Whale Sharks came up to the side of the vessel and then got under and scratched its back on the bottom with half its 40 foot body showing over the side of the boat! WOW! Fishing was again WFO for us and started right after daylight with many Big Tails and Groupers hitting the deck. By 10:00am we had all we wanted and our anglers were in need of a break so we went out on the hunt. It wasn't to long before we found another school of fish and put a few Yellowfin on board, but again they did not stick around long. The afternoon was on the slow side considering what we have had in the last 24 hours as we didn't find any kelps holding Dorado. Tomorrow we will be offshore looking for Tuna and Dorado. Wish us luck. "The Intrepid Team"

Tomorrow we will be looking in a different area to the south trying to locate some new offshore Yellowfin Tuna...... Read More
