Good evening Anglers. We unfortunately had to end our Fisherman's Warehouse trip a day early do to a unfortunate incident. In all, the time we spent fishing was phenomenal. The Dorado and Yellowtail fishing cannot get any better. We traveled a fair distance to find such fishing and I would have loved to finish off the trip with some Tuna, but an accident involving our chefs assistant brought the trip in a day early. There is a lot that goes in to putting a successful long range trip together. It is not quite the point and shoot that some would like to think. Hurricane Hilary definitely came in to play as well as the normal 20 + knots of west wind that can be had on any given trip, but these are things that long range captains expect. A crew member having to be air lifted 230 miles from home due to a serious injury is something that we (as sport boat captains) have come to accept as part of our unique occupation. We appreciate all of you that fish with us and would go the extra mile for any one of you and that definitely includes our crew. It's not Macrame, its Long Range Fishing and we love it. Jackpot winners are....1st Place : Scott Yamashits - 32.4 lb. Dorado...2nd and 3rd Place tie goes to Grant Melander and Ed Gonzales with 28.4 lb. Yellowtail. "The Intrepid Team"
