What can I say, except we started our day with a spot of Tuna crashing into the boat chasing flyers, but they didn't want anything to do with us other than that. We saw some boils and a few fish around the boat, but only managed one bite out of it. We picked it up and went out on the hunt for big fish once again. Around midday one of the guys found a floating object that provided some very good action on Dorado, some small Tuna, a few Wahoo, including a couple of very small(juvenile) Wahoo that were released. Late in the day we were back in the zone and could see that there was a porpoise school with lots of bird activity with one other boat working it. We got up above them and realized that these fish were moving at very fast pace and it was a run and gun type of attempt for us. We hooked into one Tuna and one Marlin, although we could see that a few fish were being hooked, we were not as fortunate. It has been a very tough week for us on the big fish, we did find many spots of the trophies, but we didn't catch many. This group is one of the best at big fish and has several great catches in the last couple of seasons down here, but this trip was as tough as it gets for us on big tuna. These guys and gals never let up and never complained. What a great group!! Tomorrow we will look elsewhere for a little more action before calling it a trip and heading for home. "The Intrepid Team"
