Good evening Anglers. We spent our day traveling South in very nice weather looking at several bird schools a long the way. We did see some sign of Tuna this morning on some Common Dolphin that did not want to cooperate, but were able to find some flotsam that was holding Dorado and Wahoo. A couple of Frigate birds pointed the way to Dorado leaping out of the water around a GIANT pile of rope. What looked to be a tow rope or ''Hawser'' about 4'' in diameter and several hundred feet long make a great place to find life offshore. Quality Dorado in the thousands as well as Wahoo, Marlin, Tripletail, Turtles and assorted Crabs called this mess home. There were so many Dorado on it that we were only able to hook a handful of the many Wahoo that were beneath it landing only one. Being a hazard to navigation is an understatement, and it's size and weight would make it impossible to bring aboard. Not to mention making lots of sea creatures homeless. So we did the only thing we could do and wrap it up as tight as possible making it a much smaller and somewhat solid object, put some markers in it and made a call out to boats that may be in the area. I'm sure we wont be the only fisherman to take advantage of this during its lifetime. We travel South some more. "The Intrepid Team"

We spent the rest of our afternoon picking up...... Read More
