Tuesday Bluefin Limits

Captain Jim of the Cortez just called in with a morning update of his own. He has 110 Bluefin Tuna (limits) for his 22 anglers, with some of the larger fish weighing in around 50 pounds.

Captain Mikey of the Aztec just called in at noon with 80+ Bluefin Tuna for the morning of their 1.5 Day trip. Conditions are excellent and he has high hopes for the rest of their day, so stay tuned for further updates.

This morning we had the Tribute return from a 1.5 Day with 160 Yellowfin Tuna (limits) and 160 Yellowtail (limits).

The Tribute has reported in from a one and one half day trip with outstanding yellowfin tuna and yellowtail fishing with calm seas. The three quarter days finished up with 4 bluefin tuna, 17 dorado and 195 yellowtail for only 83 anglers on two boats. The New Seaforth on an afternoon trip finished up with 1 swordfish, 1 bluefin tuna, 4 dorado and 6 yellowtail. Fishing is as good as it gets. Great offshore fishing continues. Boats reporting in today include: Aztec, full day with 28 anglers - 140 Bluefin Tuna and 17 Yellowfin Tuna. Eclipse, 1.5 day with 18 anglers - 53 Bluefin Tuna, 6 Yellowfin Tuna, 2 Dorado and 42 Yellowtail. Pacific Voyager, 2 day with 15 anglers - 150 Bluefin Tuna and 150 Yellowfin Tuna.
