We arrived yesterday around 0400 in time to catch some big baits to use during our first day here in the "zone". Fishing was a little tough to start out, but after searching around we found a nice spot of fish and picked away at the 100-150 lb. class Tuna all afternoon. Big fish honors of the day however, go to David Berutich who landed a new personal best and fish of a lifetime with a 310 lb. Super Cow. Dave caught the fish with an Avet 50w, 130 lb. Tuff Line Hollow Spectra with a 130 lb. Izorline topshot and a 10/0 Mustad matched with a Superseeker 6364xxxx Rod with a Flying fish for bait.. Also big fish and new personal best have come to Gary Arndt with his first Cow Tuna coming in this morning (our second day here) at 210 lbs. and another big boy to Cephus Daniels. At the time of this report 0800 we have boated 36 Tuna anywhere from 40 lbs. to 215 lbs. with gray light being very busy for us. We have another 4 days here at the island and hope to keep it rolling. Pictured with the supercow is Crewman Scott Shurko, Capt. Kevin Osborne and angler David Berutich. "The Intrepid Team"
