What a trip! Taking a flyer and heading into the unknown with this group was a real treat. Everyone was very enthusiastic and pumped to go exploring/fishing in the true sense of the word. It started off slow, but with a team like this one it was only a matter of time before we found what we were hoping to find and it paid off in the form of great quality Yellow fin for everyone on board. Final weights of everyone's trophy's will be determined tomorrow at the dock scales, but we know we have many very happy anglers that caught their biggest Tuna ever on this trip. Our last day of travel didn't include a stop for reds or lings as the wind is blowing around 20 knots. We slid in behind San Martin Island for an hour to give us time to break down the rest of our gear and get the vessel all scrubbed up. We would like to give a big thank you to all of the sponsors who continue to support the Intrepid Team starting with Charter-master John Bakos and WestCoastFishing.Com, Team Marine USA, Peoria Ford, Seeker Rods, Avet Reels, Maxima Fishing Line, Okuma Reels, Five Star Fish Processing, TuffLine Spectra, and Salas Jigs. ETA 0630 Friday morning.
