Final leg of this 15 day Catchy Tackle / Soft Steel voyage is a bit windy with some white caps here and there, but not bad at all on this Big Boat. We are very grateful to have Wayne Martin from Catchy and Tony Garza of Soft Steel Ultra Mono-filament here on the Intrepid. Catchy has always been a big supporter and now with Tony and his Soft Steel we are really set up well. The Soft Steel Mono-filament is some of the best Mono on the market and we are stoked to have it available once again. Thanks Tony!! The trip overall was a success with over 200 Yellowfin , close to 100 Wahoo, and a layer of Yellows on top for our limited load of 20 anglers. The Giant Tuna did not show as they had been during the week prior to this trip and only a few cows made it into the holds, but plenty of quality fish for everyone made up for the lack of Big Boys. Great times with a wonderful group and calm sea's for 90% of the trip made for a pleasant experience.

By sundown we had 60 Yellows for our efforts and some happy, smiling anglers that after the...... Read More
