We departed yesterday on our annual Nor-Cal Tuna Chasers 7 day trip with a nice load of dines and the weather to our back. It has been a fun day of giveaway's and catching up on fish stories with Friends. It sure is great to hear how strong the offshore fishery is again this year in Nor-Cal. Charter master Doug Inouye hooked everyone up with a great assortment of tackle from the many sponsors of this trip. Big winners received brand new Reels while the rest of the gang shared the bounty of Seaguar Fluorocarbon, Izorline , 5 Star T-s and Hoodies, Braid Marauders, and Big Hammer Swimbaits, and we are sure to put all these fine products to good use throughout the trip. Today we stopped on a few kelps and trolled our way down into the far zone by late evening. After a few jig strikes on small grade Tuna we chose to keep heading south into the warmer waters for a few days before coming back up this way. Wish us Luck. "The Intrepid Team"
