Timing is everything! We have had very fortunate timing this trip and the results of it and the working hard in conditions that were not all that great are shown in the catch. We had another fun day, with 13 more Wahoo, a dozen nice grade Yellow fin up to 70 lbs., a round of Yellows along with 40+ nice sized Mahi-Mahi going in the holds. The weather, the up-hill current, and the sharks did their best to throw us off, but we prevailed over the elements and have a great quality catch on board. Tomorrow we will be offshore once again looking at an area of water that has great potential if the fish are around and willing. We will be kelp paddy hopping working in a general northbound direction in order to get back to the local Tuna zone to finish off the last couple of days. Wish us luck.
P.S...Rick Royal sends out a BIG Happy Birthday to his daughter Kristen Royal.
