The fishing for Salmon was good for the anglers who worked the east edge of the Soquel Hole to the Moss Landing Harbor. There were good scores at 36'51/121'53 and 36'48/121'48. The anglers did best trolling Krippled Anchovies, Green Kajikis, and Blue and Chrome Tom Mack Spoons. The best depth to troll was 120-180 feet down in 180-220 feet of water. The inshore action was good for the anglers who fished near Cement Ship for Seabass. There were 2 big Seabass caught casting Mega Baits and Fish Traps. The Halibut bite was decent in Capitola with a few 20 pound fish weighed in. The Albacore water was cooler near the weather buoy today. I spoke to one angler who fished around 36'43/122'28 but only found cold water. We will have to wait until Wednesday or Thursday for the wind to drop.
