Good afternoon folks. The last 2 days were filled with action on kelps with yellowtail and Dorado. Not quite like the first day but still plenty good. Targeting the dorado and releasing some of the yellows throughout the day. Tuna are around ,small and they do not bite. We are thankful for the offshore action that is available.
Tomorrow we leave on another 4 day and the look of things another kelp paddy bonanza. Hopefully this great weather holds so it is comfortable.

7-29-2007Good morning folks. Our first day of a 4-day was very nice with the offshore scene awakening with nice grade yellows and dorado on kelps. We had a line of kelps yesterday that will be hard to top today although our focus today will be on Dorado and tuna after the nonstop yellowtail fishing yesterday. Nice grade of fish as well?? Good evening folks. A showing of tuna today but they were not interested in our baits, it is nice to see fish moving up the coast and hopefully soon they will get off the bait balls and bite the sardine. With the lack of tuna action we filled the afternoon with action on dorado and a few yellow on kelps. Really the first honest sign of Dorado and they were welcome sight. For the most part they were all nice...... Read More
