Fly Fishing Report August 22, 2013

Crowley Lake Fish Camp
The fly fishing slowed down quite a bit this week, probably due to the thunder storms that have been rolling through every afternoon. The fish are still there, they just don't seem to want to bite on the days with the storms. I've been fishing 10 to 11 feet of water most of the week in McGee Bay.
The usual flies have been the best, Copper Tigers, Copper Zebras, and Albino Barons in the morning. A large Super Fly on top, and a small Shaft on the bottom, once the bugs start hatching. I've also spent a little time up in the North Arm, same flies, with the same results. Just kind of slow steady fishing most days. We are starting to see a few more of the bigger rainbows showing up, maybe 2 or 3 good ones each day.
