"Yellows in the rain," reported Intrepid August 25. "We scratched and clawed our way through the day with steady rain and 15 knots of wind all day long. We saw plenty of fish, but they were not in the biting mood for the most part. We did have one good shot this afternoon where it seemed like it was going to get going, but that ended as fast at it started. A few dozen Yellows and some bonus Calico bass made up our catch today. The weather is starting to come down and tomorrow shows some big improvements, so we are hopeful for a good day on the Yellows. We are tucked in behind an island for tonight."
