Eagle Valley Reservoir has a very good Rainbow bite this week
8-22-2013
Nevada Department of Wildlife
The reservoir is looking good and sportsmen will find fewer weeds this year. Anglers are catching rainbow trout in the early morning hours and late evening after sundown. PowerBait, night crawlers or small spinners are catching the fish. Olive Woolly Buggers can be good in the late summer. Bass action has been good with one angler catching and releasing 30 bass -- one weighing in at five pounds -- while using a Slug-go worm.
