Fly Of The Week, Adams Parawulff

8-20-2013
Craig Mathews

The Parawulff is a hybrid fly and a cross between a Parachute Adams and a Wulff Style Fly. The Parawulff is an extremely effective fly and can be fished as an attractor or a specific mayfly imitation. No one can argue the success of the famous Parachute Adams and this upgraded version has certainly proved itself time and time again. Over the past couple of years we have been using this fly on Hebgen Lake for a Callabaetis Dun as well as a drake pattern, that we see in certain arms of the lake, and it has worked like a charm. The fish are always the final judge and they seem to agree.
