Salmon fishing is wide open along the Northern Cal coast

Salmon was wide open on the 9th with limits for six and two boat fish by 9am. We ran south today for a combo trip and found salmon close to eel river canyon. Then we went to the cape for some not so hot rock fishing, but managed to get about half the fish in the remaining time that we had.

Just want to say congratulations to Joshua for his first ocean salmon of 27 pounds. You did a great job at landing that big daddy, and I think your for arms told you so too ! Also thanks for the great team work, you all did a wonderful job at making all of these fish come over the rail.
