Good afternoon Anglers! Had some 1.5 day trips return today. The El Capitan had 18 passengers return with a catch of 14 Yellowtail and 44 Bluefin. The Dominator had 25 passengers. Returned with 53 Yellowtail and 24 Bluefin with a great side of 18 Dorado. Josie Lynn 5 pack trip ended up with 25 Yellowtail and 1 Dorado.
Plenty of fish around to be caught. Lots of trips are selling out so book reservations well in advance.
Currently we are sold out on 1-day 1.5-day and 2-day trips.
The Grande has 1 spot left on a 2-day trip departing Sunday the 18th.
The Dominator has 17 spots remaining for their 1.5-day leaving Monday the 19th.
The New Lo-An currently has 21 spots left for a 1.5-day leaving Tuesday the 20th.
*Bluefin Tuna Tackle Suggestions* Most fish are in the 30-50lb class, with fish up to 135lbs.
Minimum of 30lb test line, 40-50lb line highly advised as well as Fluorocarbon leaders and 3/0-4/0 hooks to ensure best chance of landing one of these monsters.
In addtion to the overnight and 1.5 day boats we also have a 3/4 day boat looking around offshore for Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. This trip will be trolling, paddy hopping and looking for meter marks on the sonar.
1/2 Day trips are (2) a day: 6:30 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. departure times. Currently the boat is fishing for rockfish and bass.
*PHOTO I.D. REQUIRED FOR ALL PASSENGERS OF ALL AGES ON TRIPS VOYAGING INTO MEXICAN WATERS*
*TRIPS UNDER 3 DAYS IN LENGTH DO NOT REQUIRE PASSPORTS*
*NO FUEL SURCHARGES*
This is some of the best fishing we have seen in recent years, so don't miss out and come see what its all about!!!
No matter what skill level or amount of days you want to fish we have a trip for you.
