We finally have a little cooler weather setting in around Reno and Lake Tahoe. This should help all of our local fisheries recover a bit from some really warm water conditions. We are not out of the woods yet but we are getting a nice break over the next few days. It is supposed to get hot again starting next week so keep an eye on the water temps. and knock off if the water you are fishing reaches 70 degrees.

Truckee River: It is Crayfish season on the Truckee River
East Walker River (CA): The East Walker is fishing well, the flows are around 69 cfs
Little Truckee River: Flows are 78 CFS on the Little Truckee. Awesome flows for this time of year.
Lake Davis: Davis Lake is really too warm to fish

Truckee River: Truckee River is fishing very well as the water releases from Lake Tahoe keep the water level high
Little Truckee River: Flows are at 41 cfs on the Little Truckee & the PMD hatches are inconsistent
Sawmill Pond: Sawmill is fishing really well, this lake is in great shape. Dry fly fishing rules here.
Lassen Meadows Ranch: Lassen Meadows Ranch Lake was recently stocked & is in great shape
