Clear Lake Fishing report
7-30-2013
RB Bass
Water: stained,clear,tanic,blooming
Weather: Hot 60-100 deg
Water Temp: mid 70's
Topwater bites are good early and late,look for areas with flats and grass,Frogs,Persuader buzzbaits and whopper ploppers are all getting bites. The South has been better overall. At 8 am go deep,Persuader black and blue 1/2 oz. jigs tipped with the new Berkley Chigger Quad is working well. Drop Shotting rock piles off shore is also producing some good fish. A few crank bait fish are being reported as well with deep diving crank baits. Big Catfish are on the move and very aggressive hang on as fish to 30 lbs are biting well while bass fishing.
