Ryan Bostian

Ryan Bostian called in with this report for the San Diego, fishing out of Seaforth Landing. It looks like our offshore season has begun. We've been keeping tabs on this Yellowtail & Bluefin tuna that the 1 Day and 1.5 Day boats have been catching. Up until yesterday, it was just not within our range. However, yesterday we went out with 39 passengers and we caught 65 Yellowtail. It's that kelp paddy grade Yellowtail, 8 to 18 pounders. They are bigger than last year however.

"We did not catch any Bluefin tuna yesterday. However there was some caught in the area we were fishing. Hopefully this is just the beginning of our offshore season. We hit several kelp paddies yesterday. They all had fish on them.

"We did not have the best working conditions yesterday. We did have about 15 knots of wind. We are looking forward to the good weather that is forecast for this week.

"We will be fishing offshore every single day. If you'd like to join us call Seaforth Landing at 619-224-3383. Or you can go to the San Diego Website.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-3383 to get in on the action.
