New Sea Angler takes out 32 Anglers & catch 38 Lingcod, 3 Salmon & 320 Rockfish

Rick Powers called in to give us this report for the New Sea Angler. "On Monday July 22nd 32 Anglers caught 38 Lingcod to 18 lbs., 3 Salmon to 28 lbs. & 320 Rockfish. That's full limits of rockfish."

Rick Powers called in with this report for the New Sea Angler. "The new Sea Angler had 22 limits of Salmon to 36 lbs., that's 44 Salmon. We were trolling north of Bodega Head just off the Russian River. The fishing was wide open and the average weight was about 18 lbs. Most of the fish were in the low 20's and quite a few in the 30's. Rick Powers called in with this report for the New Sea Angler. "38 Anglers caught 50 Salmon to 36 lbs. They also caught 31 Lingcod to 15 lbs. Plus 380 Rockfish. It was a red hot bite, big salmon 15 to 18 lb. average. Most of the fish were over 20 lbs, with some fish into the 30's. "Rockcod fishing remains excellent.
