Captain Mike Pritchard of the Tribute just called in with another morning update. They are still on their first kelp of the day and they now have 70 Bluefin Tuna from 30-70 pounds, 95 Yellowtail, and 1 Opah!

Captain Greg Gawitt of the Pride just called in to report excellent tuna fishing this morning. As of 7:30 they had 26 Bluefin, with several fish hanging. According to Greg, all of the fish are between 30 and 70 pounds.

We had several boats return to the dock this morning. Their fish counts were as follows:

Voyager- 14 Anglers: 56 Bluefin, 7 Dorado and 70 Yellowtail

Outer Limits- 23 Anglers: 115 Yellowtail and 5 Bluefin

The weather offshore continues to be excellent. This evening we have three boats departing. The Aztec is scheduled to depart on a 1.5 Day and both the Outer Limits and the Pride are scheduled to depart on One Days. There is currently availability on all three trips. All of the trips are going for sure!

On a local fishing note, the New Seaforth was able to boat a 58 pound Yellowtail. It was caught by 90 year old Masaharu Tsuida, one of our dedicated half day regulars. The trophy sized Yellow is pictured below.
