Limits of Yellowtail and 13 Bluefin Tuna

The first day of a 2.5 day trip resulted in limits of Yellowtail and 13 Bluefin Tuna. The Yellows were generally 8 to 15 pounds. And we had some big Bluefin up to 65 pounds. We still have another day of fishing and we will check in later.

7-21-2013Mark Gillette called in to give us this report for the Eclipse. "We just got back this morning from a 2.5 Day trip. We had very good Yellowtail fishing. We had good Bluefin Tuna fishing as well. Everyone had a very good time and the weather also cooperated. Mark Gillette called in with this update for the Eclipse. "The Eclipse ended up with 91 Bluefin yesterday. 70% of that grade was 40 to 50 lbs., the rest were 12 to 15 lbs. They lost a lot of fish from what the guys in the crew told me. A lot of the loses were due to poor connection knots.
