Freedom big score on the Yellows this week

Freedom put on 147 Yellowtail with 25 anglers fishing Clemente Island on 7/16/13. They fished with live squid and jigs. Today they landed 40 nice yellows and a few Halibut up to 50 lbs.

Today we had 3 California Yellowtail, 1 California Halibut (30 pounder), 14 California Sheephead, 10 Sargo, 33 Opaleye, 25 Ocean Whitefish, 35 Kelp Bass, 50 Halfmoon, 9 California Barracuda, and 90 Kelp Bass Released. John Woodrum called in with this report from the Pursuit. "We had very good fishing at Catalina Island today. We ended up getting 52 Yellowtail today. We had a decent take on the today, but at the end of the day they went 'wide open'. "We leave every morning at 6:00 AM out of 22nd Street Landing, fishing Catalina Island.
