Captain Frank Lopreste called in late last night with an update with a summary of the current trip. Our first day of fishing during this trip we had slow fishing in the offshore grounds. On the second day we some Yellowtail and Tuna. We then headed to the rocks and had slow fishing there. We ended up with 20 Yellowtail and 6 Wahoo at the Rocks. Our next move was to the Ridge where we had excellent fishing for Yellowtail and a handful of grouper. We then made the move to Isla Cedros where we had good fishing for large calico bass and Yellowtail. Yesterday we spent the day offshore experiencing excellent Bluefin Tuna fishing we ended up with 158 Bluefin Tuna in the 30 to 60 pound class.
We do have a handful of spots available on a couple trips departing later this month. We have a 3 day departing on July 26th with 6 spots and another 3 day trip departing on July 30th. Call the office at (619) 226-8030 to book now while the fishing is hot.
