We work towards success like the trip we just had. This fishing took place 122 miles from Pt. Loma and 126 miles from the docks at H&M Landing in San Diego. The fishing was not wide open on the Bluefin Tuna, it was very good at times. The Yellowtail was wide open at times and both the BFT and Yellows were keeping us busy. The group of anglers have been coming out for about 3 years in a row and this was the 6th strait year for many of the fishermen.

The last three years straight one could say we easily started the real fishing season on the June 30th trips. Most the time we have no idea what we are going catch. This year was an epic surprise. The Bluefin are from 20 to 70 pounds with the average being 35 to 37 pounds. There has already been some Dorado, and Yellowfin, caught too. There is already a chance that fisherman could get a grand slam with 4 types of fish on the grounds. This July is off and running don't wait to get out because it's bent rods, big smiles, and then barbecue time at home! We are looking forward to having our friends and new friends out fishing.
