Yellowtail harvest is very good.
The area is very much like parts of last year as we are fishing about 100 to 130 miles off shore, and down inside a south heading. Lately the fish have been on kelp patties and a few fish on sonar.
Sardines and Salas 6x Juniors are producing many fish. Anglers should stop in at the tackle store at H&M Landing and get a couple of Jigs, 1&2 ott hooks, number 1 hooks, 30 pound floral carbon. A good addition to remember is that big fish are most the time landed with spectra backed reels. BFT are out there and a big hit on the Bluefin is right around the corner. .
