Fish Report for 6-21-2013
Busy, busy, busy..

The month of June looks to go out with a BANG!!! Boats are yet again loading up on white seabass at the islands.. and now yellowtail are back too! Halibut and barracuda are keeping anglers busy from time to time as well. Bottom fishing has been on the back burner, but the times we've dropped down deep we have been pleased with the results.
July is right around the corner.. lots of new fish showing up and conditions at islands like Santa Cruz and Santa Rosa are ripe for picking!
Pacific Dawn is scheduled to remain in Ventura till July 24th, and they have only a hand full of open trips with spots available. They also have one more 2-day trip on the books in early July.
Pacific Eagle remains on the 4AM schedule in search of white seabass, yellowtail, halibut and more on its full day trips. These early departures are quickly becoming a "go to" for local seabass anglers, so book your spots ASAP as they are filling up fast.. even during mid week.
Island Spirit has made big changes to its schedule to accommodate the type of fishing we've seen this season. They are now only running LIMITED LOAD trips departing at 5AM every day... and even on the weekends! Those of you who have fished elbow to elbow know what a huge thing this is!
