Red Rooster catches 115 Tuna & 98 Wahoo at Hurricane Bank & Cedros

Red Rooster III returned June 9 under skipper Andy Cates' hand after 15 days at Hurricane Bank and Clarion Island. The catch included 115 tuna and 98 wahoo.
Bill Walsh of Chino won first place for a 266.8-pound yellowfin. It was the last trip of the 2012-2013 season.
Joe Arimitsu of Simi Valley won second place for a 246-pounder.
Jesse Baker of Culver City won third place for a 241.7-pound tuna and Mike Berkman of Valencia took the trolling jacket for a 40.6-pound wahoo.
Four other cows were landed, including one for Bob Michener of Oxnard, who has caught over 50 giant yellowfin on the boat.
