Hello again from the independence. After a quick turn around Saturday we departed on the big fish tackle 8 day. With a good supply of sardines we were on our way. we had the usual tackle seminar, followed by another huge tackle raffle , cal star, okuma,Sabre hats and shirts, jigs, eagle claw hooks, we rolled down to the offshore grounds only to find that things had changed a little bit, mainly in the weather dept. we did see little bits here and there, and one good school, but the weather was far from perfect. We did manage 9 of those beauties and a few yellowtail for our efforts. Not the start we had hoped for, but there is still time.
