Excellent bite right now for Kokanee & Trout at McClure Lake
6-16-2013
Bruce Hamby
Excellent bite for Kokanee and Trout! The fat and sassy Koks are averaging 14 to 15 inches. Good areas to try are from the A Frame to the south shore of Temperance Bay, at depths of 40 to 60 feet deep. The 16 to 18 inch Rainbows are holding the same areas as the Kokanee 30 to 45 feet deep.
Both Tout and Kokanee are falling for Uncle Larry's lures behind Vance's Dodgers tipped with bloody tuna corn.
King Salmon bite is slow with and occasional Chinook showing up 60 to 80 feet deep in the deeper waters around the dam.
