Hello everyone, well we departed Fisherman's landing at 11:00 hours, with 36 passengers. This is HI's 5 day long-range adventure. Billy Santiago well be at the helm this trip. We have a very good load of bait, and we are headed for points southwest. Our weather if just wonderful for this type of fishing. We had a slight breeze for the first few hours, but by bite time, it was flat sea's for all.
We arrived to the fishing grounds in the late afternoon. It didn't take long to boat our first fish. It was a nice 25 pound Yellowtail, off a kelp paddy. It was a good start to let our passengers get us to how we do it on the R/p. We would have many more stops before it was first call for dinner. We would end up with 27 Albacore in the 18 to 30 pound range, and a handful of Yellowtail. The Yellowtail were in the 18 to 25 pound category.
