Captain Justin Fleck called in to report the Excel is rolling home in flat calm weather. We fished up the beach. We had fantastic Yellowtail fishing. They bit on the YoYo iron. The fish were 14 - 30+ pounds. We ended up with 60 Yellows. We then did some Halibut drifts. We had 5 nice sized Halibut up to 35 pounds. There was good signs of life around. Our stop at the islands was a nice way to break up the trip. We will arrive in Point Loma tomorrow morning and our next trip will not be for 10 days or so. Then we are off on our Summer Schedule.
