How shallow are our shallow water light tackle trips? Well, how about as little as 20 feet...that's some of the territory we fished today. Tell me that's not fun. The shallows are definitely starting to crank out more fish, today 34 limits made of mostly of some good size blacks, gophers, black and yellows, china cod and the like. Seven cabezon were landed as well as 8 lingcod, the top fish succumbing to a lure presented by Curt Holman, which ended up being a personal best 20 pound lingcod for Curt. Bet you're glad you decided to stick with your decision to come out today, huh? There are still a few spots available for tomorrow. If you'd like to join us, we'll have the doors open at 5:00; check in no later than 6:15.
