Captain Paul Strasser aboard the Independence just called in with the first Bluefin Tuna of the 2013 season. The fish was caught about 175 miles from Point Loma on a Zuker “Zucchini” broomtail jig. Looks like it’s time to dust off the fishing gear, tuna season is just around the corner!

The MISSION BELLE  departs daily at 6am for 3/4 Day fishing trips to the Coronado Islands. Cost of the trip is $105 and includes your Mexican fishing permit.

The DAILY DOUBLE  is running 1/2 Day trips departing at 9am Monday through Friday. On the weekend, trips depart at 6:30am & 1pm. Cost of the trip is $45 for adults and $38 for juniors, seniors and active duty military.

The POINT LOMA is running local ¾ day trips fishing for Halibut. Trips depart Thursday through Sunday at 7am. Cost of the trip is $66.

The NEW LO AN has overnight trips to the Coronado Islands /Baja Coast. These trip are targeting Yellowtail and Rockfish. Cost of the trip is $135.00 and includes your Mexican fishing permit and bunk.
