Latest report.. "the gamble" pays off... Dispite a heafty weather forecast Pacific Dawn gambled and had it pay off. Morning breeze turned into less than 5 knots in the afternoon. A little overnight rain while everyone was sleeping cleaned the air and made for ideal fishing conditions at the outer islands. They had a private charter with only 15 anglers.. catching limits of rockfish plus lings and whitefish.
Local fishing this week.. Pacific Eagle and Island Spirit will be back out looking to pick up where they left off from last week. Surface combo trips all week long for barracuda, white seabass and rockfish.
Outer island fishing this week... Pacific Dawn has an open trip departing Wednesday and Thursday night, returning the next evening. Quality rockfish, lingcod, whitefish and sheephead. Maybe even early season white seabass and halibut!
