As Shogun heads for Fisherman's Landing
5-1-2013
Bill Roecker
Shogun is travelling toward Fisherman's Landing, and has been out of touch with the dock, but she posted some of the events of her trip. This one is from April 29.
"We got off to a nice early start this morning, hooking a couple of monsters about 4 A.M. Unfortunately we had one hook pull out and another break free just 30 feet below the boat. But fishing did improve throughout the day and we had our best day of the trip on the larger grade fish. We didn't wind up with any cows, but we did have several in the 175 to 185-pound class. About 6 P.M. we pulled anchor and got underway, with Alijos rocks being our final fishing destination."
